A LITTLE PLACE I KNOW

I recently visited local shop A flock of crafty birds for the first time, and I have a feeling this little shop is definitely bursting with sunshine all year round, colourful knits, dolls, vintage teacups, and of course the lovely Lisa with her teapot at the ready to pour you a cuppa, if you have time to slow down and nestle into a pile handmade cushions. In the window was a huge old sofa which was waiting for a little TLC and is now re-upholstered in beautiful linen. Hand stitched bunting drapes along the walls, vintage furniture and lamps are given a new lease of life with fresh paint and fabrics. With new items sourced and made by local crafters added all the time, this ever changing Aladdin’s cave is going to be added straight to my Hastings and St Leonards treasure trail map.
