AN ICY COLD WIND AND WINTER FAIRIES

Winter FairiesI hope you have had an enjoyable weekend? It’s already over a week since I last posted about these little peeps! An icy cold wind has been slowly gathering pace outside today, so I have stayed safely indoors adding the finishing touches to their boxes. The long awaited glittering tissue paper finally arrived last week (I was determined to get myself together this year in time for Christmas) and now all the boxes are filled and decorated. If you catch them in the light, both the cats have a gentle shimmer about them too! Winter FairiesEach Winter fairy and box is different and made using vintage lace, papers, sequins, beads, crystals and a good dash of glitter. My favourite is Florentina because she has the word Hastings in beautiful script on the reverse of her wings. All of these little fairy folk are over in my Etsy shop now waiting to flutter away. Inspired by heirlooms and vintage magic, hopefully to be treasured for years to come. Each one will arrive at their new home hidden in between layers of that sparkly tissue paper, in a hand decorated gift box all tied neatly with a vintage ribbon bow. Winter Fairies AllNow I’m off to make some festive party hats, definitely have the making fever this month, hope to see you tomorrow x

Oh Jeska. How I long for one! Do you only ship to and around the UK? Not to the U.S.? *heart breaking*

    • Jeska

Oh , Melissa! I like to send them with a secure service that is signed for at the other end, as things have got lost before and it will cost £8.90 – so around $14 :(

      • Jeska

Oh Melissa you can if you want to?! I could always adjust the shipping – I have for another lovely girl in Sweden, so let me know, but I thought it might be too expensive xxx

Thank you Lynn, I came over to sea angels to catch up with you and saw we posted on the same day last week about fairies! Obviously the right time to bring out the glitter and magic, maybe we should do a fairy exchange? xxx

  • lynn

That is a rather lovely idea, I think they would get on well together x, though I suspect there may be Magic wand envy …say no more ha ha..lots of glitter and enchantments….let me know your colour preferences and I shall weave a magic spell of moonlight sparkles.
    Hugs Lynn x
