At The Waters Edge Book ReviewHello there, I hope you have had a lovely start to your long weekend. Just lately I have been sent a beautiful selection of books, so have to decided Fridays will be the day I share my favourite ones with you. I am a little late this week, as we have had lots of tradesmen round to give us quotes for windows and building work. With exciting things to decide and all the planning, my time keeping went completely out of the window! So, here are some of the lovely pages you can expect to see if you pick up a copy of At the Water’s Edge by writer and stylist Sally Hayden. At The Waters Edge Book ReviewThis book is very exciting for us as it shares lots of images of the indoor/outdoor lifestyle we have craved for so long. Decking, a fresh sea breeze to dry our laundry and big open doors. I am also particularly interested in the type of plants and foliage used in these waterside gardens, as we do hope to create quite a shoreline-beach feel to our outdoor space. There are a few beautiful cabins and lots on single story living (which I love being a Bungalow gal). Verandas, stoops, decks and raised pathways showing great ways to connect with nature and your outdoor surroundings. At The Waters Edge Book ReviewAs well as many coastal treats and ideas, all the wood and rustic elements are right where we want to be design wise at the moment and the more we flip through the pages the more we discover. If you are looking to connect with nature or dream of waterside and coastal living this book is such a great source x
