AUTUMN CRAFTS – KNITTING

Tiny Owl Knits PatternsNothing conjures up a vision of cosy like knitting by an autumn fire, this is exactly how my mum (a master knitter) spends many evenings relaxing. Unfortunately I have not inherited her skills, I just can’t get my head or hands around the needles. But someone else who can is Stephanie Dosen of Tiny Owl Knits, I recently discovered her lovely patterns when I was on my weekly Etsy rampage. Forest inspired themes run through her collection this season, with a few snuggly scarves, hats and the amazing beekeeper’s quilt thrown in for good measure. Whilst I will be asking my mum very nicely to knit me the racoon mittens and super soft neck bow, maybe you are clever enough to download one of Stephanie’s patterns and put it together yourself?

I absolutely love these, they look so amazing! I only wish I had the skills to knit. My recent purchase of ‘Knitting for Dummies’ had a quick read, but it’s almost as though it’s another language! Eek!

I wish I could knit too, every winter I have a go and it never quite works out. I think I need to do a class, get some tips x

These are so cute! I love the bows. I wonder if she crochets! If only I could knit, too.
