It’s still cold outdoors so if you want finally ditch the PJ’s of January and get out in the fresh air, layer up pretty shift dresses with slouchy sweaters, drape over a shimmering scarf and pop on a pair of fingerless hand warmers so nude nails can peep out. Slip on a pair of butter soft suede pumps for easy walking, earrings for sparkle and finish with a woven clutch filled with the little essentials for day or evening.
What’s in your bag? Keyring Mulberry, lipstick YSL, Chocolate lollipop Celia Birtwell, Fisherman’s friend lozenges, Compact mirror Liberty, Marshmallow hand cream Mor at Space NK, Rose pefume L’Occitane, Zip purse Liberty.

Fresh fruit for breakfast, an easy way to get winter vitamins. Olives with pate on toast for an easy lunch and make suppers complete with salted creme caramels and sweet turkish coffee.
Then use the rest of those dark evenings to start a new project that will tide you over until the Spring sunshine arrives.

I’ve enjoyed this post a lot! February is so gloomy… but to make me smile all I need are: chocolate lollipop, polka dots nail polish, and olives with pate. And I mean, NOW! :D

I’d love to do an interiors moodboard challenge in the mydeco.com forums to match this colour scheme. The first moodboard looks very Kelly Hoppen but the second more Cath Kidston.

    This could be fun.

Loving the nude nails, and also the beautiful earthy palette in the photo of your fruit bowl and toast. I don’t think February is going to be so bad, at least it is over quickly!

I do hope that clutch comes to Jigsaw in Australia. After the heatwave Sydney’s just experienced it’s comforting to think it will be cool enough one day to carry something tweedy (who knew tweed could be so pretty?). Not that I’m wishing away summer. Oh, no.
