IT’S WHAT’S ON THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS

So here it is, the place where vintage and modern collide, a place where the floorboards creak but the walls are silent, a place where you can spend ages looking at all the pretty things, a place scented with lavender, rose, sandal wood, cedar, amber and patchouli, a place where you can buy tiny bottles of orange essence to add to iced milk.Where french soaps share space with sea shells and hand stitched moroccan leather tassels lie quietly next to sugar scented lip balms.Recycled sari’s, vintage haberdashery ribbons, handmade decorations, tiny ships and antique paintings, beautiful cards made by local artists and so much more, didn’t you mention that you wanted to take a trip to the seaside this summer?

Heavenly! Exactly how far is it from London? Is the surrounding area worth a day trip? Such lovely photos Jeska, thanks for sharing :)

It’s Butlers Emporium George Street Hastings (Old Town)

You’ve really caught the essence of the place. Clever you. Hastings is super lucky to have such an eloquent spokeslady. Luckily for me, I spend half my time on top of the West Hill so I can pop down there often. It really is a lovely spot. Enjoy your new job!

What an inspirational place to work! You must be getting lots of ideas.

While I love discovering new places, blogs and shops it’s often frustrating as much as it is delightful. I just love so many styles and objects. I must wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to interior design!
