NEPTUNE HOME – WINTER IN JULY

Festive dining inspirationHello, happy Friday! I’m back, after an inspirational and busy week! I have just about got my head around the whole ‘Christmas in July’ thing in the PR world, and as the weather has taken a turn for the Autumnal here in the UK, I was only to happy to embrace all the cosy, shimmering and simply stunning styling in the Neptune open house, this week in Soho. I spent the day with Natasha dashing around a small and inspiring triangle of London at press shows with pits stops at beautiful cake shops, (more of that in my next post). We found so much to love at the Neptune event I had to dedicate an entire post to all the pictures I took, I hope you’ll enjoy them!Festive dining inspirationI admit, Neptune is completely new to me, but after such a lovely experience on Wednesday, it will not be forgotten. I am completely in love with the simple and sophisticated settings and beautiful finish on everything. It felt like a very grown up place to relax and spend a lifetime.Festive dining inspirationAll the feathery fir branches and filament bulbs with their honeyed light transported me to my favourite time of year.Festive dining inspiration Festive dining inspirationThe kitchen and dining rooms were piled high with an abundance of foliage, candles, edible treats and lovely white dinnerware.   simple chic living roomThe light was flooding in the amazing old windows and we stroked velvet chairs whilst sipping elderflower spritzers and snapping away with our cameras. sweet christmas treatsfestive foliageSoho window viewpaired down festive style paired down festive style This bar cart below was a highlight, twinkling candle light reflected in the cut crystal coupettes and  it was stocked with all my favourite drinks!Beautiful bar cart festive mantle Beautiful bar cartNeptune Home DetailsRich and welcoming, the bedroom and upstairs salon were, dark and moody with dashes of spicy orange and red, this oval painting above sadly did not fit in my bag, only kidding ;) and how magical is this smokey grey wreath?Neptune Home DetailsNeptune Home DetailsNeptune Home DetailsMoody bathroom stylingI will remember lots of the lovely things from this house, especially decorating the windowsills and bannisters with draped with berries, frothy leaves and twinkling lights (I am not sure how long they will last with two cats climbing about). I usually use pinecones and dried flowers but I am leaning towards all things green this year. What do you think? I know it’s way to early to mention the ‘C’ word, so lets all be in denial of the festive side, and focus on the shimmer and light, yeah?! Have a wonderful weekend, I hope the sun comes back soon? xxxMoody bathroom stylingMoody bathroom styling
