OCTOBER SURVIVAL GUIDE

So now the Summer has really gone, the smell of fresh mown grass, roses and candy floss are replaced with rain, fallen leaves and hearty dinners. This is the season when I like to start stock piling scented things for our home, zesty soaps for invigorating showers that wake you up when it’s dark outside at 7am, warming amber scented body lotion to keep winter skin soft, spice infused candles for dusky evenings, a glittering cushion to reflect the light from those flickering flames, delicate incense for a peaceful weekends spent at home making seasonal gifts, a favourite mug for tea, soup or hot milk, some indulgent chocolates, and rugs for extra layers under cold feet.

Dark Amber hand and body lotion, smokey sequinned cushion, Chrysanthemum rug-Zara Home, Chocolate Pumpkin-Rococo Chocolates, Bois Fumé dinner candles-Miller Harris, Jasmine and Clove exfoliating glycerin soaps-Babylon Soap Co Etsy, Cream enamel metal mug with red trim-The Courtyard Boutique, Juniper and Sweetgrass incense-Toast.

What a lovely post! I do tend to buy a lot more candles and smelly things over autumn as well but they way you’ve expressed it makes it all sound so much cozier… actually quite looking forward to colder nights now that ya mention it :)
