SIMPLE PLEASURES – RHODODENDRON CUTTING

simple flowersBack out in the front yard, lopping off boughs and digging up unwanted shrubs, this little rhododendron snippet looked too pretty to drop in the garden waste, so I popped it in this old pottery vase to survive another day. The only place I like the colours mauve, purple or lilac is in or from the garden. I should really get back out there today, we have sun but the wind is raging. Feeling the need to stretch my legs and arms, (check me out, and wow my roots need dying!) after the super savage workout I did with my trainer yesterday. Maybe a brave a walk to the farm shop to get something nice for lunch is in order?garden flower stylingpottery vase

One beautiful stem really is all that is needed. I sometimes prefer the paired back singular flowers to huge arrangements. Sweet post x
