Hello and happy Friday! I have been all at sea this week in a confusion of Christmas projects and trying to source the right furnishings for our home. Today I have taken just a few moments out to flick through Gypsy. Every time I get news of a new Sibella Court book in the works, I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy and her latest book Gypsy was well worth the wait. The two hundred and seventy two pages are filled with colourful travel inspired interiors and stories from the five destination headed chapters – Galapagos & Ecuador – Indochine – Turkey – Scotland and Transylvania.
A visual scrapbook with beautiful photography, paint palettes, sketches and mementos. Each new page you turn is a feast for your eyes and soul. For any of you with the travel bug this might tip you over the edge and have you planning your next trip imminently.
For me, this lovely book will provide a magical escape from our Winter and dusty renovations, as I will savour reading a chapter each month until March to get me through the dark grey days.
