A YEAR OF MOMENTS WITH L&S AND CANDY POP OCTOBER – GATHER

Found books and seasonal gatherings have inspired our pictures this month ‘A Year of Moments’, for my image I began with a cosy autumn coloured blanket and a 20p book, that I love (despite it’s past owner seeming to have used it for dart board practice)?! The amazing multi-coloured leaves were snipped from a plant near our front door and I thought the poppy seed heads looked long and elegant alongside the fuzzy sea holly spikes. My token piece of lace is barely visible but it is there as a bookmark! ;)

For Natasha’s photo she, grouped fallen leaves and fir cones with a few items currently on her desk. A treasured copy of The Life of Charlotte Bronte book printed in 1941, which came complete with notes. The Pre-Raphaelite Dream dates back to 1943 and includes the most exquisite images. N adores old books and feel their pages hold so much history and often wonders where they’ve travelled, or how many bookcases they’ve lived on. And she LOVES Twiggy! Happy October!
