Of all the amazing and wonderful things we saw last February on our trip to California, the coastline along Big Sur was just the most beautiful. Breath taking, (quite literally) as some of the drive was a trifle scary. The curves of the land met the rocky shore and glistening swells of the sea, turquoise, sapphire, teal, indigo, cobalt, azure and ultramarine, all swirling together to make the bluest of oceans.

These photos which have been patiently waiting on my desk top to be shared, finally have something to compliment them, some beautiful things from my Etsy favourites. These are the supplies I obsess over, beautiful feathers, delicate hand cut beads, semi precious stones.Lady Amherst natural feather from Kimonos, Apatite rough nuggets from Gemme Tresor, B Grade Yellow Opal from Yakutum.
Beaches-Picasso Czech Glass Beads from Arte Bella Surplus, Vogue Iridescent Bronze Natural Coque Tail from Kimonos, Freckled bits– Picasso Czech Glass Beads from Arte Bella Surplus.
Teal Faceted Rondell Beads from Caladonia March, Turquoise Round Gemstone Beads from Yakutum and Ostrich fringe Golden Champagne from Kimonos.

Jeska, these photos are gorgeous! And so are the beads and feather you chose. My husband and I are planning a trip to California this year, and Big Sur is on our must visit list. I can’t wait!

This is a remarkable collection. Deciphering the colours in the first picture and translating them into each of the objects was such fun. Very, very inspiring!
