It’s almost that time again, daffodils will be bobbing their cheery yellow heads in the breeze, trees will be dusted with pretty blossoms and garden birds will be busy building nests for their young. The Country Living Spring Fair is a celebration of all things Spring and packed with simple pleasures, things to make, cakes to bake, talents to nurture and magic to grow in your garden. Keep reading for more details and the chance to win one of two pairs of tickets to the fair that’s on from the 18th – 22nd of March 2015 in Islington, London! If you are just about ready to crawl out of your winter bunker and leap into Spring, the show isn’t all about shopping, this year you can enjoy panel discussions and lifestyle tips in the Country Living Theatre, try out Green & Black’s 20 unique flavours of chocolate or sip bubbles in the champagne bar. If you feel like letting your creative side loose, sign up to spend an hour or two in the Craft & Create Rooms – where Hilary Jane will show you how to make a Keepsake Heart using scraps of fabric and simple stitching or you could make a delightful little lavender filled house for your wardrobe whilst refreshing your sewing skills with Sarah from CoolCrafting – you can see the full line up of things to create in the Craft & Create rooms here.If you’re a Country Living subscriber there is a unique opportunity to meet editor Susy Smith and her team at an exclusive event to celebrate CL’s 30th birthday. Visit the Fair on Friday 20 March and combine a day of shopping and crafting with a delicious afternoon tea in the CL Restaurant at 4.30 pm. Raise a glass of champagne and help blow the candles out on the special birthday cake designed by Jane Asher.
