HANDMADE PAPER ENVELOPES THREE WAYS #3

Hand painted envelopesI hope your midweek has been enjoyable? We spent the afternoon, working out, dodging rain and planting out the last few green things in our front garden. After planting out for six hours yesterday I could have slept all day today! But here I am – awake and sharing my final envelope DIY.Hand painted envelopesI covered most of my desk and self in paint and tape to create these, but I think they were well worth it and the most fun to make. I taped the edges and back panels with a few different stripes of Washi tape, then just went wild with my acrylics. To finish them off, the borders and label spaces are made with gold pen and permanent fine liner. So simple and all I used was some old printer paper, the cutie template from Papermash, double sided tape and my art materials. Hand painted envelopesI am stopping the blog posts here, but may I just add that besides the ballet themed and vintage wallpaper, I have made many more envelopes. It’s very addictive, my others are painted watercolour paper and some from wrapping paper with pineapples, check them out! Not sure which are my favourites overall, which ones do you like?Hand painted envelopes
