A sunny weekend on a farm in Buckinghamshire, a field of cosy bell tents, two giant tipis, a sprinkling of fairy lights, awesome workshop tutors and a whole lot of fun. We’ve just got back from Natasha’s soul-warming Creativity Festival at Hill View Farm.
The days were spent with pockets of creativity and activity everywhere, folks knitting in the shade, talking crochet in the makery, ceramic making with Julie and Katie, dying yarn, honing skills and a little bit of shopping thrown in.
A working farm with tractors purring, animals calling to each other and an abundance of almost autumn vegetables spilling from the beds. Cucumbers jostling in the greenhouses with chillis and beautiful bright flowers everywhere!
A sea of tropical snapdragons, modest echinacea peering towards the August sky, rows of dahlias and double anemones in mauves and pinks.
Swallows swooping and chickens clucking around the beautiful farm shop and cafe made from recycled timbers.
This is a lovely weekend if you want to get away in the summer months and feel like part of a huge creative family for a couple of days.
You can attend the workshops or just relax around like-minded people, join in or sit out, relax on the deck chairs have an outdoor shower under the stars and then snuggle up under a real duvet in a cosy tent with some new friends! We always leave a visit with Natasha and her family feeling a little spoilt and very inspired.
It was so nice to share delicious home cooked meals with lots of lovely and amazing folk under canvas as the evenings drew in and then follow the fairy lights back to our circle of tents to sleep.
