Hunting for and selling treasure has become quite a pastime of ours since we moved to a bigger home, and eBay has proved to be the best place to peddle our vintage home wares, source high street brand decor bargains and find that coat I was coveting from Zara last season but didn’t find in store in my size!
When I was asked to work with eBay to gather together themed ‘collections‘ of my favourite things for their new campaign that launched last Thursday – I was more than happy to get lost amongst the millions of shops and items to source the very best things to share with you. This is such a fun and visual way to display your eBay finds together. Editing down your watch list into things you want to use in the garden or to style the perfect room in your home – all the while saving links to your favourite shops and sellers and making a beautiful online pin board while you are at it.The images shared here are from my favourite collections they are – Indigo and Denim – A nod to Japan, a hint of Indonesia, colours found in the oceans and the sky. From deep indigo blues to washed out denim hues, a gathering of watery calm colours inspired by travels around the world and back. Bring them all together for a tranquil space to call home.Heritage Home – Valued objects that hint at days spent in the unspoiled countryside, inside grand historic buildings with eccentric uncles and forgetful aunties. Playing in rooms filled with things that have been passed down from previous generations, a rich and traditional mix of hardy textiles and timeless furnishings that can be shared with man and his best friend.
Rose Chateau – A magical miniature dream castle dressed in french and english prettiness. A charming palette of pale and interesting frippery, all the things my childhood heart still calls out for. Fanciful over the top furniture with worn chalky paint – blushing flowers – twinkling crystal chandeliers and some fairytale fun thrown in for good measure.
Colour Wild – Playfully quaint, fanciful, colourful pretty things for a bright fun filled home. All these objects are inspired by parties and celebrations. I tend to keep the colours on my walls quite neutral, but like to have at least one corner in my home where I can run riot with colour.
Vintage Veranda – From apartment living to having two gardens has been quite a leap! But I am loving gathering things for an outside space. Your garden is an extension or your home that spills out in to the wild. I am hooked on old looking, shabby and vintage things for the outdoors, be it for a stoop, veranda, patio or beyond.
The items here can all be found in my collections, you can see them all over here on my eBay page, why not get started on your own personalised collections today!
