Sorry about me! I have been hold up in my home office/studio making paper dolls, lavender bags and mini Liberty fabric cloud mobiles. A nest of paper, glitter and vintage lace has been my home for the past few days. Surely you can tell that I am one of those makers who doesn’t really get inspired until time is running out. So with only a few days until the Pop Up Emporium and cafe (one now!) – I am franticly sewing, glueing and putting together some things that will hopefully look lovely on my table. I just don’t know how these events always creep up on me when I know way in advance, anyone else like me out there?!
Antique papers and old lace, will come together in a loose british seaside theme. Along with the mermaids and rain clouds, there will be some tiny matchbox artworks, my vintage style seed boxes, and time willing a few pretty garlands.
It’s beginning to feel quite coastal in the office now with the gilded oyster shells and all these miniature fish tails. The Mer people are slowly surrounding me, and I am feeling outnumbered. I am also very conscious of time, so I’d better be off! x
These are adorable! Good luck with the Pop Up. If I wasn’t moving house this weekend, I’d be there like a flash! xo
Thank you Emily, I hope the move goes smoothly! :)
Was so nice to meet you. See you soon! http://nordicdelights.blogspot.co.uk/
Great to meet you too! Sorry I never said goodbye, the packing up frenzy got me and we were rushing out the door! :)
