It was the warmest Halloween on record in the UK last Friday, and we spent it with the fresh, salty sea air on one side and the wind swept sand dunes on the other. The unusually hot weather saw us detour on our way home from visiting with relatives for an early evening walk along the Camber Sands shoreline. With only one day left before November, we relished an hour scaling the dunes and watching dogs splash about in the sea, with the setting sun as a backdrop.
