I am always on the hunt for good indoor gardening advice, so the new book House Plants by Isabelle Palmer is perfect. It is packed full of inspiring images, helpful advice, step-by-step projects and inventive planting ideas. This photo above is my absolute favourite. Orange velvet, vintage crochet, blue accents and a sweet little hanging planter filled with Muehlenbeckia complexa. The colour combo is making me want to decorate the bedroom all over.
Minimalist tones and shapes here with dark sand and soil and deep aubergine leaves – and my dream bathroom below.
Table top gravel gardens, trailing plants, miniature terrariums and light bulb vases – so many great ideas for incorporating a little green happiness in to your days to be found in this book. Plus a wee section about keeping a few plants just outside your back door or creating a living wall.
Isabelle will show you how to create beautiful terrariums and mini hanging gardens using recycled glass bottles. Sharing her creativity, helpful advice, source book and most importantly – techniques to keep your new green friends alive. Hop over to this fun tutorial to find out a great tip for handling cacti, so simple but brilliant!

Looks like a great find, I’ll have to give it a read! I always have loads of glass jars leftover from old candles, which would make great homes for succulents and cacti!
This looks great – I have plants lining my windowsills at the moment so some somewhat more inventive ideas would be great!
