Winter FairiesIn amongst all the chaos of decorating, other projects, having no storage and still no work room, a little sparkling magic is happening, first started last Autumn I have finally gotten around to finishing my Winter Fairies. Now I just need to package them and they will appear on the almost bare shelves of my Etsy shop.Winter FairiesWith lots to do and a list of tasks as tall as me, I decided to play hooky for a day and get in to workshop elf mode, stitching dresses and glittering tiny wings. Made from vintage lace, antique papers and letters, glitter and all kinds of embellishments these tiny fairy folk have been a labour of love, with many needle injuries and glitter spillages along the way.Winter FairiesInspired by Glinda the good and an old handmade fairy that sat pride of place on my grandma’s tree, each fairy is one of a kind and all these little ladies have sparkling crowns and wands to grant wishes.Winter FairiesWinter FairiesFor a little while longer hey are all packed away patiently waiting for their boxes to arrive before they can be packaged and sold. Wishing you a happy twinkling Saturday xWinter Fairies
