Scenes from the house that has been ours for one and a half years. Yes we have lived here for 18 months, I can’t quite believe it. The house is divided down the middle, half done – half waiting. I thought I would share some corners and snippets today. Luckily we have enough finished areas to shoot pictures in, and our lovely spacious office has now become a work space, dining room and lounge all rolled into one.
In shop news, we have business cards! They are here and have even been handed out to some people, so it’s all very real now. Things have been steadily arriving and there have been some tense times in the office. All going well, we hope to open up online at the beginning of October. Thanks to all of you that have signed up, not long now and we will be able to share the new site with you!
A bare faced and scruffy haired me, this is how I look most days, my beauty regime is minimal and that’s just how I like it. When I worked in the bank I was dolled up like a air hostess most days, after a 45 minute make up ordeal every morning. I was always running late, but with so many people standing only inches away from my face – it was probably for the best. Now, moisturiser, a favourite lip tint and two swipes of blusher get me by. The cats and plants don’t seem to mind and the husband likes my bare face, so that’s just peachy.
This one has been snoozing way too much in the day times, so I have been trying to wake her up at five minute intervals, in an attempt to keep her from meowing and scratching our bedroom door to bits at 4am. I am convinced people with babies have it easier and get more sleep. ;)
