My first autumn inspired post. Don’t worry, we can ease in gently with one of my favourite independent clothing labels – Sideline. Each season, I cannot wait to see what Ellen designs. Denim, indigo, embroidery, flashes of subtle colour, pieced and patchworked together all in a contemporary and very wearable way.
Earlier in the year Dean and I visited the magical studio where each collection turns from sketch to reality. A shared creative space with the lovely Pauline from Vrac Tea. A tiny slice of carefully considered – retail heaven. I asked Ellen if I could share some of the beautiful coastal mood shots from her latest lookbook, along with a few of my favourite pieces from the Sideline A/W 16 collection when they were ready – et voilà!
Cosy collared – Marianna jean jacket and Orla Skirt. I am always on the hunt for the perfect jean jacket that I can wear into oblivion – and this just might be it.
The Orla Skirt again – (I seem to be a bit obsessed with it) and Rebecca Dress. Relaxed fit, pockets, three-quarter length sleeved perfection. Also, check out the Leo Dress if you are not quite ready for longer sleeves!
As it is going to be getting cooler soon – I am loving the Lola Indigo Patchwork Jacket and the longer Dulcie Coat with that bright flash of red that is the Clover Scarf. I love the denim and red together. If you are feeling a nip in the air or are ready to get some great indigo pieces for your wardrobe – you can view the full collection here – Sideline. Stay cosy! x
