Small things for quiet Sundays, I wish Kathrin Ollroge could come by and redecorate my shabby old dolls house, it needs a serious make over. I keep looking at all the tiny details and decoration in each photo and can’t decide which is my favourite. I think it has to be the tiny bottles of juice on the floral table top.“They act as metapher for our collective memory of private domestic surroundings and invite the viewer to create his own stories and interpretations.” See the full collection of Kathrin’s work here at Gallery 22, found via the Hello Handmade Gallery via Emma Cassi’s lovely blog.

They are such gorgeous pictures – I’d love a full sized house like that one. I’ve always wanted to create a dolls house based on our house, but it’s another thing on a very long to do list!

I’ve often thought it would be a great hobby to create a dolls house from the ground up but I think I’ll wait until my 18 month old wouldn’t try to un-create it!!

I wanted to pass along to you that I’ve picked your blog to award an award I was given (you know those ones you pass on to your own favourite blogs?). I’ve followed you over from Blogger and just love your blog so thank you for keeping it going :)
