For this months styling the seasons I have gathered a few of my favourite things on my bedside table. Is it possible for a piece of furniture to be a muse? If so, this tatty little bedside table is mine (not much of it visible here, but keep your eyes peeled tomorrow). Bashed and knocked for many years before it came to be mine, I absolutely adore it. My favourite vintage find of 2014. My motto for 2015 – don’t overlook – The Good.
Good people, good food, good karma, good times and a bloody good book. All things we might take for granted and sometimes overlook. This year for me is going to be the year of appreciation of all good things. It started with my quest for the finest glass of hot chocolate – found –here – (luckily for my waistline I am unable to get to Brick Lane of Soho that often) and will be a personal project of daily noticing.
I would love to hear about your good things. Little pleasures you are noticing on the stark winter days, smiles made in your home, garden and corner of the world.
I love this, Jeska – it’s so warm, cosy and familiar feeling. I also love the sentiment behind your styling and I. for one, am definitely guilty of taking things for granted and not showing enough appreciation so i will join you on the your quest! P.S. I, too, love your bedside table xx
Thank you Katy! Sorry been snowed with lovely orders so only just getting back to blogland – Might I be seeing you tomorrow?! xxx
It’s the simplest of things that enrich our lives, so The Good is all good in my book. Jx
Yes Jane! ;) x
Thanks Sally! I just pick up old frames at junk shops and boot-fairs and fill em up with all my paper joy! :)
