Hello hello! Styling the seasons is one of my favourite things to join in with, so I am very disappointed that I didn’t manage to find time to post last month. But it is just so hectic around here all the time! With both Dean and I being freelance and running the shop February was a right off . So I am here to make a mends.
This month it’s more like un-styling I am afraid, with plants taking over and my one woman Liberty print cushion factory getting a little over zealous (I stitched up 6)! But this corner of our new living/garden room is still bewitching me and I felt like sharing some more snippets. Below is a lovely page I tore out of Flow Magazine – have you ever read it? I picked up a copy of the inspiring creative mag in Amsterdam from a lovely little shop called Butik Flittig and loved it!
Tea and biscuits are being consumed in every incarnation here at the moment, eating the lovely green kiwi helped make me feel better about all the biscuits. I so badly need to do a sugar detox but it’s proving very tough at the moment – rehab might be required. If one of you have a spare room to lock me in and could then post raw vegetable sticks under the door you’d be a real pal.
The plants I recently added to the jungle room are all settling in nicely and this giant already needs a bigger pot to grow in to. For some reason it’s leaves really remind me of dinosaur footprints?!
My favourite chair has been piled up with the afore mentioned floral cushions, and there is just about room for me and the latest issue of Cereal magazine on the seat, so I’m of to sneak a peek of the inspiring pages right now. Happy Thursday!
As I sat reading this beautiful post I was scoffing garibaldi biscuits and drinking copious amounts of coffee so I wouldn’t worry too much Jeska x (I did go swimming this morning so that’s my excuse!)
Love a Garibaldi! I some how manage to disappear whole strips in seconds?
Hey, that biscuit is made in my city… What a surprise to find them in your blog…. ☺️
beautiful and delicious – I have already eaten two today – can it be our secret!? ;)
The most beautiful post Jeska. I’m a bit exhausted and broken this evening but this has lifted my spirits. Thank you! xxo
Oh no! I hope your beautiful family are taking good care of you, glad I could give you a little cheer x
Such a beautiful post – the cushions, the plants I love it all. I’m SO glad you enjoy joining in, your posts are always beautiful and so inspiring. x
Thanks Charlotte! I see the husband eye me with suspicion at each new cushion that arrives but he can’t stop me hahaha!
