The most loved and (hated by some) day of the year is fast approaching. I like Valentines day as I am a romantic and I’m not talking roses, rings and chocolates – although a heart shaped box of anything does make me smile – I see it as an excuse to give handmade DIY gifts to friends and loved ones. A day set aside for love, for everyone, a bit like thanksgiving day but with more pink, so ignore the commercial side and use it as an excuse to hand craft things for the people you love.
