TROPICAL TEMPTATION – INDOOR SUN TRAP

Tropical FabricI’m coming to terms with the necessity of bright white walls in my studio/office. But don’t worry, I have my coral wish, I have added colour with this amazing parrot and coral tropical fabric in the form of cushions, and curtains to hide the mess! So excited to get it all in place in the new few weeks.Tropical FabricWhile I’m waiting for electric sockets and the walls to be painted, I have been painting frames and boxes and anything that doen’t move with these Little Greene paint samples. Picking out just three colours from the fabric pattern was hard but I think I made good choices, what do you think? Tropical FabricAll things bright do help to combat the world outside my windows. This morning the sea mist rolled in so thick I could barely see my neighbours house. This dreadful excuse for a Summer has to be remedied somehow! Below you get the gist of how the room will look, a colourful oasis in a house otherwise decorated in a blanket of muted calm, my indoor sun trap where I will vacation on my days working from home.Paper pom pomsTropical FabricMy happy little bird now in a circle of bright yellow – frame painted with Little Greene’s Trumpet.
